Join the youth empowerment movement to create positive social change. Defining US is a media and education series that gives students a voice and schools a platform to help solve the most pressing social and emotional issues of our time.

    New York City Department of Education, Los Angeles Unified School District, and Atlanta Public schools have joined the first documentary and campaign of the series to empower young men of color.

    The documentary follows six students, two from each city, and a team of their peers who are using what they have learned in school to implement social action challenges that will improve their own world.

The campaign includes a feature documentary, local television programs, and youth-voiced digital media that drive traffic to the nation’s largest digital portal with credible, sustainable educational resources to help change the narrative about young men of color, replicate school programs that help them succeed and improve race relations nationwide.
