Guilford Overview

    • Closing the Gaps
In our 2018 strategic plan, one of the goals is to decrease the achievement gap between black and Latino students and their white peers by seven percentage points by 2022. We’ve taken several steps since then to achieve that goal, including a few you may learn about on our programs and interview pages.
    • Through new curriculums, programs, partnerships and our community we are making improvements for our students so they may graduate as responsible citizens prepared to succeed in higher education, or in the career of their choice.

Hear from Guilford County Students

  • We are igniting the passions of our students to make changes in their own lives, homes and communities, asking them to think about some of the tough questions our society forces them to face and working to give all students the same opportunities to succeed regardless of race, class, gender, culture or background.
